Shift Process Operative

Location: Westbury

Permanent and Full-time

Salary: £28,415.88 per year + shift allowance

Hours: Monday to Friday (plus every second Saturday morning if required). Normal hours are based on a 40‑hour week, from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work 8.5‑hour shifts.

Shift one – Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:30: £12.60 p/h; Saturday 06:00 to 12:00: £18.90 p/h.

Shift two – Monday to Friday 13:30 to 22:00: £13.86 p/h (10% shift allowance).

About the Role

We have been requested to support our client to recruit a reliable and hardworking Shift Process Operative to join their MBT Facility team. The successful candidates will help keep the site clean, tidy and safe, operate plant machinery (once trained and authorised), and assist in the smooth running of the facility. This is a hands‑on role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the site.
  • Carry out first‑line maintenance and cleaning of plant equipment.
  • Support colleagues by covering other operational roles when needed.
  • Complete site records accurately.
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures.
  • Monitoring and controlling plant operations.
  • Managing deliveries and dispatches efficiently.
  • Supporting site upkeep and safe working practices.
  • Operating the weighbridge and undertaking general process duties.
