Shift Plant Operator

The Shift Plant Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role requires technical expertise and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.

Description
  • Controlling and monitoring of all operations on plant
  • Completing regular checks on equipment
  • Relaying the information to Shift Team Leader
  • Maintaining sufficient levels of fuel available to the fuel conveyors in the absence of the Front Shovel Driver
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures at all times
  • Monitor the plant operation and performance using SCADA / DCS
  • Carry out regular plant walk rounds to determine plant running conditions
  • Complete all scheduled walking tour preventative maintenance schedules - PPM's
  • Make changes to plant apparatus where required or instructed to support and maintain plant availability
