Overview

Location: Corby

Salary: £37,000 - £39,000

Hours: Monday to Friday fixed shift 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm.

Summary

This role requires an experienced warehouse team manager who has a desire to progress further and can ensure their people are engaged and perform to the highest of standards with excellent customer care in a high volume, FMCG environment. You will ensure a clear operational plan and drive a safety culture reduce costs and improve service levels as well as implement a culture of continuous improvement through lean working.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operational running of the pick and pack operation
• Drive a customer centric focus
• Provide effective leadership and motivation to the staff
• Lead best practice for safety
• Ensure 121's, appraisals and absence management is completed

Experience / Qualifications

• Managed a team of 40 + in a fast paced, customer focused environment

Must have experience of automation Continuous improvement mindset using lean techniques

• Able to make recommendations for the improvement of processes and procedures
• Strong people management skills
• Ideally 3PL and knowledge of Bonded goods is preferred
