Job summary

Pattern is seeking a UK Warehouse Manager to lead the Northampton warehouse, ensuring safe receipt, storage and dispatch of goods while driving efficiency and cost control. The role requires a seasoned leader with 5+ years in warehouse or supply chain management and solid P&L experience.

You will build and manage a high-performing team, implement Lean Six Sigma practices, and collaborate with planning and procurement to meet demand and service levels.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience of 5+ years in warehouse, distribution or supply chain management with full site P&L responsibility.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics software; Lean Six Sigma background is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Full site management of the UK warehouse in Northampton, including receipts, storage and dispatch.
  • Drive operational excellence, cost control and continuous improvement across the site.
  • Recruit, develop and manage a high-performing team and align activities with Pattern's commercial objectives.
  • Set and track KPIs and SLAs, collaborate with planning on forecasted volumes and priorities.

The UK Warehouse Manager at Pattern is responsible for the full management of warehouse operations at our UK Warehouse, ensuring the seamless receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The role requires an experienced leader who can drive operational excellence, build and manage a dynamic team, and support commercial objectives aligned with Pattern’s growth and customer service goals.

What is the day in the life of a Shift Manager?
  • Full site management. Scheduling of goods receipts, volumes to be processed

  • Financially skilled in Budgetary & P&L responsibility for the site. Building a strong, efficient and experienced FTE team.

  • Working with key resource suppliers to dynamically flex the team in line with the demands of the business and the seasonal volumes.

  • Driving operational excellence and continuous improvements to support the evolving business.

  • Sourcing and managing consumable providers, continuous negotiation on costs.

  • Setting SLA’s and tracking KPIs.

  • Working with the Merchandise Planning team on forecasted volumes and shipping priorities.

What will I need to thrive in this role?
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain management, including full site P&L responsibility.

  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to recruit, develop, and manage high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and vendor negotiations.

  • Excellent working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics software, and best practices.

  • Strong understanding of and background in Lean Six Sigma methods.

  • Effective communicator with strong organizational and analytical skills. Fluent in English.
