Job summary

Greggs plc in Leeds is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team and put customers first. You’ll take responsibility for the shop when the Manager isn’t around, motivate colleagues, and ensure excellent standards across service, food preparation and displays.

As a shift leader you’ll inspire your team, serve customers quickly and politely, prepare products, keep shelves stocked, and help the shop look clean and welcoming. This role offers benefits and progression within Greggs.

• Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
