Job summary

40 hours per week average over the year, shift work 4 on 4 off (06:00-18:00 then 10:00-22:00 Sat and Sun 06:00-16:00hrs)

What you'll be doing
  • Manage the day to day running of the shift teams on the SLF plant, including staff holidays and sickness management
  • Provide adequate and appropriate training to ensure site operations have sufficient resources
  • Participate in the site/facility QHS meetings, actively promoting environmental awareness and Health and safety standards
  • Work with the site management team to ensure day-to-day site operations are run in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements
  • Provide daily tasks to, and supervise a team of operatives ensuring priorities in line with site requirements
  • Provide cover for the Site Operations Manager role as and when required
What we're looking for
  • Knowledge of COMAH / MAH / OSSOW (Operational Safe Systems of Work)
  • Previous work within the waste treatment or chemical processing industry, plant control systems and equipment
  • Knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental systems
  • FLT trained
  • Driving licence advisable
