Job summary

Iceland Foods is seeking a committed Shift Manager to join our growing team. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store.

You will support the management team to deliver consistent results and strive to be the best place to shop and work. Key focus areas include maximising availability for customers, driving sales with value offers, and embedding an inclusive culture while developing the team through hands-on leadership

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve performance.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by selling offers and delivering on store actions.
• Complete actions set by line manager from daily floor walks.
• Support and engage with store team and Talking Shop Rep.
• Follow cash handling and security policies and One Best Way processes.

• Complete any actions set for you by your line manager on the back of the daily floor walk focusing on what the customer sees.


• A positive approach to service, both in store and at the doorstep always aiming to be the best place to shop.


• Follow and implement all cash handling and security policies & processes.


• Play your part in providing the best digital service through implementing all \"One Best Way\" processes.
