Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking a Shift Manager in Aberdeen to lead the shop team and deliver outstanding customer service across in-shop and online channels. You will ensure smooth operations when the Manager is away, motivate staff, and maintain product quality and cleanliness throughout your shift.

You will supervise and support colleagues, manage displays, and ensure fast, friendly service while upholding Greggs standards. This role offers weekly pay and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Availability to cover varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop team and ensure smooth operation in the Manager's absence.
• Deliver fast, friendly service to customers across in-store, delivery, Click + Collect and online orders.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and oven management.
• Keep displays stocked with a wide range of Greggs products.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and presentable shop environment.

Job description

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first. As part of the management team, you’ll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager is not around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job. We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable
