Job summary

Greggs in Inverness is hiring a Shift Manager to lead a shop team when the Store Manager isn’t around. You will motivate staff, ensure customers have a brilliant experience across in-store and online orders, and manage daily operations on shift.

The role offers £13.80 per hour, 25 contract hours, and a range of benefits including colleague discounts, free hot drinks, paid breaks, and a pension scheme. Closing date 31/10/2026.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
