A not-for-profit charity in Malvern seeks a compassionate and skilled Shift Leader to provide person-centered care for residents. In this full-time role, you will lead the team in ensuring the safety and dignity of elderly residents, manage medication administration, and support staff development. Ideal candidates will have a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and relevant experience in a similar role. Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel, we have been supporting older people for over 120 years. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty.
With a person-focused approach to care, Davenham, Bradbury Court and Perrins House are picturesque homes situated in beautiful grounds in Malvern. Specialising in care for people with dementia, as well as residential and nursing care, we have a dedicated, well-trained and compassionate team of staff on hand to ensure that Malvern feels like home.
Joining our dedicated team as a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care, unique to each individual, supporting and enabling our residents to maintain key skills, personal interests, independence, choice, and dignity, so that they can lead fulfilled lives.
Shift patterns include evenings, weekends, and some unsociable hours.
We will provide all the outstanding training and tools you need; all we ask is a willingness to learn and a genuine enthusiasm to encourage others to live their lives to the fullest.

As this role involves dealing with vulnerable adults, successful applicants will undertake an enhanced DBS check; any offer of employment will be dependent on a satisfactory outcome.
