Job summary

Greene King in Portsmouth is seeking a Team Leader to guide the shift, ensuring the team has what they need and that service runs smoothly. You’ll lead by example and uphold high standards to keep customers happy.

You’ll deputise for the management team, coordinate the team during busy shifts, and ensure the bar remains safe, legal, and welcoming. A positive attitude and strong English communication are essential.

Job Description

As a Team Leader, you’ll lead by example, making sure the team have everything they need so the shift runs like clockwork! You’ll make sure the team maintain high standards and that our customers are kept happy.

Qualifications

As a Team Leader, you will…

• A great eye for detail, making sure every pint is poured to perfection.
• Be a role model to the team on giving great service and making sure every customer receives a warm welcome.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift.
• A positive can-do attitude and be a real team player.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
