Shift Leader (Care) – Nights, Weekends

Contract & Working Pattern

Full Time – 36 hours per week, Nights and Weekends. Pay: £14.82 per hour.

Location

Heathlands Residential Care Home, Station Road, Pershore, Worcestershire, WR10 1NG.

Responsibilities
  • Make sure our residents are safe and comfortable.
  • Act as a champion for their safety and dignity.
  • Lead the team in providing quality, individualised care for residents in line with procedures and policies.
  • Ensure clear, accurate records are kept.
  • Follow procedures for ordering, administering and dispensing medication.
  • Conduct supervisions and appraisals with staff and promote their development.
  • Maintain a safe, clean workplace and follow infection control protocols.
  • Handle shift patterns that include evenings, weekends and some unsociable hours.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in a similar role, having previously led a team and administered medication.
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or higher is desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Digital skills, problem‑solving ability and knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
