Job summary

Tesco is recruiting a Shift Lead for Taunton. You will head a store team, ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for customers, while supporting colleagues across departments and handling day-to-day queries.

You’ll step in for the Manager when needed and guide the team with clear communication and responsive decisions. We value inclusive leadership, strong service mindset, and a commitment to adapting to changing needs.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
