Job summary

Mitie Heathrow is seeking an Engineering Shift Supervisor to lead a team of engineers on a 42-hour weekly rotating shift, including days and nights. You will ensure safe operation, timely maintenance, and KPI achievement within a critical environment at Heathrow.

The role requires City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2, HVAP, and IEE 18th Edition (ideal). DV clearance eligibility and strong electrical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires strong leadership of engineering teams across shifts.
• Must ensure compliance with safety and statutory regulations.
• Experience in critical environments (e.g., data centres) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and manage a team of engineers across day and night shifts.
• Ensure all equipment and services are maintained safely and efficiently.
• Oversee planned maintenance and ensure tasks meet scheduled dates and statutory requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and service delivery standards across the contract.
• Maintain accurate records and utilise IT systems for reporting.
• Support DV clearance processes as required.
