Job summary

B&Q Exeter is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise daily store operations, ensure a safe shopping environment, and lead a team to deliver excellent customer service during each shift. This permanent, full-time role (36.75 hours/week) includes a store location allowance, pension and 6.6 weeks holiday.

You will deploy colleagues, handle customer queries, and uphold standards that make the store a place customers love to shop.

Full-time equivalent £28,224 per annum (Inclusive of £515 per annum, store specific location allowance) + Pension + 6.6 Weeks Holiday

This is a keyholder position, with shifts ranging from an earliest start time of 6am to a latest finish time of 10pm

Role

Your role as a Shift Lead is pivotal in ensuring a safe working and shopping environment. You’re the person who will oversee your shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. It’s B&Q’s ambition to make every customer count, so you’ll strive to ensure B&Q is a place colleagues love to work, and customers love to shop. In this role you will:
