Qualifications

• Qualified electrician to at least city and guilds level 3 ideally 18th edition.
• Experience in basic plumbing and carpentry.
• Good all-round trade knowledge and capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide general engineering support including plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and disruptions.
• Work collaboratively with a large team across The Ned.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters.

The Ned City of London houses Ned's Club - a private members' space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.

As part of our Engineering department, you will : *

• Provide general engineering support to the whole operation - including basic plumbing, electrical repair, and gas equipment
• Help the business to achieve sales targets by regularly carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns, and disruptions, keeping The Ned running smoothly and looking in top shape
• There are 750+ team working in The Ned, and the engineering department supports and works alongside all of them, so a can-do attitude and great people skills helps us to maintain a great place to work
• The engineering team provide coverage across the whole operation, so flexibility is working patterns will be required
• Ideally you will have background knowledge with similar environment from your previous roles
