We are recruiting for skilled engineers to join a busy food manufacturing environment. We have opportunities for both hands‑on Shift Engineers and experienced Engineering Shift Leaders. Whether you are looking to focus on technical maintenance or step into a leadership role, we have a position for you.

Key Responsibilities - Shift Engineer

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities - Engineering Shift Leader

• Lead and supervise the engineering team during your shift.
• Coordinate with production to prioritize maintenance and quickly resolve equipment issues.
• Support team members in fault diagnosis and problem‑solving.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and promote a safe working culture.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

What We're Looking For

Shift Engineer

• Relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Practical experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts.

Engineering Shift Leader

• Proven experience in an engineering role with supervisory or leadership responsibility.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Desirable for Both Roles

• PLC experience
• Exposure to continuous improvement programs
• Multiskilled in mechanical and electrical disciplines
• Food manufacturing experience
