Job summary

Bvlgari Hotel London is seeking a Shift Engineer to join our Engineering team on a 4-on, 4-off rotation covering day and night shifts. You will maintain electrical and mechanical systems across the hotel, ensuring safety and reliability to support a world-class guest experience.

Located in Knightsbridge, this role requires hands-on experience in luxury hospitality, a methodical approach to preventive maintenance, and the ability to work independently on a rotating schedule.

• Two years of experience in a similar luxury or 5-star hotel role.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Reliable, communicative, and able to work independently on rotating shifts including nights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance to a high professional standard.
• Maintain guest rooms, public spaces, Spa, pool, and leisure facilities.
• Support upkeep of hotel plant and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests with timely feedback.
• Liaise with external contractors and specialists in emergencies.
• Supervise contractors and help develop junior team members.
• Uphold Health & Safety standards for guests and staff.

We are looking for a Shift Engineer to join our Engineering team on a 4-on, 4-off rotation covering day and night shifts, playing an essential role in the smooth and safe operation of the hotel around the clock.

Located in Knightsbridge on the edge of Hyde Park, Bvlgari Hotel London is one of the capital's most distinguished luxury destinations, renowned for its Italian craftsmanship, contemporary elegance and uncompromising standards. Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks across the hotel safely and to a professional standard
• Maintaining guest bedrooms, living areas, public spaces and leisure facilities including the Spa, pool and sauna
• Supporting the upkeep of all hotel plant and equipment
• Responding to maintenance requests from operational departments and providing clear, timely feedback
• Liaising with external contractors and specialist services in the event of emergency or breakdown
• Supervising contractors on site and supporting the development of junior team members
• Upholding Health & Safety standards at all times, ensuring the wellbeing of guests, residents and colleagues

• Solid hands-on knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems
• A methodical, safety-conscious approach to all work
• Professional in manner and conduct, with the confidence to operate in a world-class environment
• Dependable and communicative, with the ability to work independently across a rotating shift pattern including nights
