Job summary

RGR in Croydon is seeking a Shift Maintenance Electrician to join our commercial maintenance team, performing planned and reactive maintenance within a critical datacentre environment.

You will work in a team responsible for electrical systems across plant rooms, with on-the-job training and a company-funded HVAP course to support career development. The role is permanent, PAYE, with overtime and a comprehensive employment package including holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Electrician / Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in commercial maintenance is preferred but not essential.
• Up-to-date regulations: 18th edition.
• Willingness to work overtime overnight and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance within a critical datacentre environment.
• Attend electrical systems in plant rooms as part of a team.
• Participate in on-the-job training and HVAP career development.

Shift Maintenance Electrician | Croydon, South London | Static | Continental Shift Pattern | Critical Datacentre Environment | £60,600 - £62,400 + bonus + paid overtime + employment package

Due to team expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Electrician to join our commercial maintenance team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a critical datacentre environment.

As the Shift Electrician, you will work within a team, attending all electrical systems within critical plant room infrastructure. On the job training and development is provided alongside company funded HVAP (high voltage authorised person) course for career development.

Employment Package:

• Role: Shift Electrician / Shift Maintenance Electrician
• Status: Permanent, PAYE
• Base Salary: £60,600 - £62,400
• Estimated Earnings: £75,000+
• Company funded training and development - HVAP
• Holidays: 25 days - pro rata to shift pattern.
• Paid overtime available: x1.5 - x2 rates. Available both overnight and weekends.
• Location: Static site based in Croydon

Requirements:

• Must be a qualified Electrician / Electrical Engineer
• Experience as a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer within commercial environments is preferable but not essential.

• Flexibility to work overtime both overnight and weekends on occasion.
