Position: Permanent – Full Time – Start: January 2026

A principal contractor would like to appoint a SHEQ Advisor / SHEQ Manager for their London & South operations. With a group turnover of over £100m nationwide, they specialise in external and internal refurbishments, such as cladding, remediation and replacement of windows, roofs and doors etc. They can also boast a number of long-term frameworks within public sector, education and health.

Responsibilities
  • Chair weekly H&S meetings and coordinated incident investigations.
  • Delivered stakeholder engagement across client, principal designer and delivery teams.
  • Monitor all site inspections and chair monthly supervisor H&S forums.
  • Monitoring and ensuring H&S compliance on site.
  • Streamline audit documentation and improve staff onboarding and induction procedures.
Attributes and skills
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a refurbishment environment.
  • Proficient in CDM 2015 compliance, RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, and toolbox talk development.
  • Proactive, confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to influence and support both site teams and supply chain with a collaborative approach.
  • Share core business values and behaviours.
