Job summary

Adapt Recruitment is seeking a SHEQ Manager on behalf of a client in the UK renewable energy sector. You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality systems across BESS and renewable infrastructure projects.

You will work with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure compliance, deliver training, audits and reporting, and drive a positive SHEQ culture across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with SHEQ/HSEQ in renewable energy, BESS, construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality legislation/regulations.
• Experience with ISO management systems, including ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor SHEQ policies, procedures and management systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver SHEQ training, briefings and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.
• Support accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the organisation.
