Job summary

PMK Electrical—Precision Switchgear is seeking a Group SHEQ Advisor to coordinate Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality across the Group. You will maintain the Integrated Management System, support ISO certifications, audits and investigations, and provide practical SHEQ advice to management, employees and contractors.

The role drives continuous improvement, mentors teams and ensures compliance with legislation and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a SHEQ, Health & Safety, Compliance or Quality role, with independent work and multiple priorities.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Experience developing and reviewing RAMS.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary SHEQ point of contact across the Group.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Group’s SHEQ Management System.
• Coordinate compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Assist with audits and inspections.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are closed out.
• Coordinate health surveillance and statutory inspections.
• Promote safe systems of work across the business.
• Deliver SHEQ inductions and manage training records.
• Prepare SHEQ reports and KPI data for Senior Management.
