Sheet Metal Worker - Rugby

Salary: Up to ?17.00 per hour, based on experience

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; early finish on Friday

What We're Looking For

We need an experienced sheet metal fabricator who can bring a wealth of skills to our team. If you're reliable, punctual, and enjoy working collaboratively, this role could be for you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication Skills: Proficient in cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal using various tools and techniques.
  • Machinery Operation: Skilled in operating manual machinery, including drilling, tapping, guillotine, press brake, and rolling machines.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Assembly Tasks: Carry out general assembly tasks, ensuring precision and quality in your work.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with workshop foremen and site employees to meet project requirements.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Additional Skills
  • Experience with welding techniques, such as MIG and TIG.
  • Knowledge of metal finishing processes, including grinding and polishing.
  • Familiarity with various sheet metals and their properties.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
