We are recruiting for a leading UK MRO provider based in Luton, known for delivering high-quality aircraft maintenance and engineering services. We are seeking multiple Sheet Metal Workers to join our client's Line Maintenance team in Luton. Working under the guidance of the Certifying Engineer, you will support all aspects of aircraft maintenance. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the Structural Repair Manual (SRM) and the hand skills necessary to complete complex structural repairs on a variety of aircraft.
Perform sheet metal work activities on fabricated parts, including drilling, deburring, filling insets, and general SMW tasks.
Manufacture and fabricate aircraft SMW parts, panels, doors, and other components.
Interpret customer specifications and technical drawings accurately.
Complete maintenance, repairs, and fabrication tasks to the standard specified in technical data.
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with company MOE and MRO systems.
Follow regulatory requirements (EASA Part 145, Part M, Part 66) and company H&S policies.
Maintain high standards of airworthiness, quality, safety, and performance.
Keep aircraft maintenance logbooks up to date and maintain SMW authorisation.
Perform general housekeeping and ad hoc project work as required.
Recognised apprenticeship in aircraft industry or similar.
Based in a paint workshop environment.
