Overview

Tuckey Metal Fabricators, Inc. seeks a skilled fabricator to join our team in a family-oriented environment with strong values.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair sheet metal products and equipment such as HVAC/R ductwork, control boxes, drainpipes, ventilators and furnace casings, according to job order or blueprints.
  • Select gauge and type of sheet metal according to the product being fabricated and knowledge of metal.
  • Locate and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheet.
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, bending rolls, and punch and drill presses to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal.
  • Shape metal over anvils, blocks or forms, using a hammer.
  • Fabricate OEM parts.
Qualifications
  • Prefer 1 to 2 years experience (or more) in trade.
  • Ability to read and interpret geometry and view flat drawings, pictures, and blueprints to visualize solid objects with height, width, and depth.
  • Ability to rate information using standards that can be measured or checked.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize subtle differences in shapes or shadings.
  • Must have a current PA Driver's license.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
