Job summary

A leading engineering services provider in the UK is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Fabricators to join their growing team. You will fabricate sheet metal for pipework and equipment, ensuring quality control and safety compliance. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Thermal Insulation Engineering and relevant experience in fast-paced industrial environments. Competitive pay and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

We are currently recruiting experienced Sheet Metal Fabricators with a background in thermal insulation engineering to support ongoing mechanical insulation projects across a range of high-risk customers.

We have earned a reputation for completing the most challenging industrial service contracts and we continue to grow.

So as a Sheet Metal Fabricator at Neway, what will you do?
  • You’ll measure and fabricate sheet metal cladding for pipework, vessels, and equipment
  • Interpreting insulation drawings, fabrication patterns, and site specifications you’ll make sure that customer expectations are met
  • Working with aluminium, stainless steel, and galvanised steel you’ll do what is needed in both hot and cold systems
  • You will ensure accurate and quality-controlled fabrication and installation on-site
  • Collaborating closely with our insulation teams you’ll deliver seamless cladding standards
  • You’ll maintain safe working practice and comply with all site safety rules and procedures
And what are we looking for?
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Thermal Insulation Engineering
  • Valid CCNSG Safety Passport or CSCS Card
  • Proven experience in industrial sheet metal work and cladding in oil & gas, marine, energy, chemical, or similar sectors
  • Experience and knowledge of the safe and efficient use of sheet metal equipment within a workshop environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site layouts
  • Experience working in time-sensitive environments such as shutdowns or turnarounds
  • Flexibility to travel and work on different client sites across the UK
It will be great if you also have:
  • Familiarity with insulation systems and materials
  • Previous work on COMAH sites and/or within a workshop environment
