Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or materials handling experience.
• Ability to interpret specifications, job cards, and customer requirements.
• Understanding of safe materials handling practices and health & safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.
• Self-motivated, reliable and proactive.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Comfortable using computers and stock control systems.
• Ability to learn measuring equipment and use it accurately.
• Willingness to undertake training to become business-authorised stamp holder.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physically fit for regular manual handling and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare sheet materials for production and customer orders.
• Operate a side loader to move sheet products (training provided).
• Pack products according to customer requirements and procedures.
• Maintain stock records using the computer-based stock control system.
• Support sheet processing by operating equipment like polycoater and guillotine.
• Ensure materials are correctly labelled and identifiable.
• Maximise stock utilisation and minimise waste.
• Follow health & safety policies and company procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and housekeeping.
