SHE Advisor

Duration - 3 Months

Location - Warwick / Remote

Summary

My high-profile utilities client is looking for a Gas Project Planner to join their team. Based at their Warwick offices on a hybrid basis (1 day a week on site) on an initial 6-month contract with chance of extensions.

Join our client's dynamic team as a SHE Advisor, supporting their large IT Programme in refreshing its Networking and CCTV capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact in the utilities industry. As a SHE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, particularly in relation to the Telecoms industry. If you are passionate about health and safety, experienced in auditing and root cause analysis, and have a good understanding of CDM regulations, we would love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Engaging with delivery partners and internal Gas teams to advise on and ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
• Supporting the team in selecting appropriate delivery partners through engagement and procurement activities.
• Providing expertise on defined safety and health issues.
• Conducting audits and root cause analysis.
• Identifying and assessing patterns of resistance and utilising effective problem-solving skills.
• Collaborating with senior managers to communicate and influence health and safety practises across all organisational levels.
• Developing and delivering innovative and effective training materials.
• Contributing to the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy.
• Undertaking accident and incident investigations.
• Coordinating with stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and share best practises.

What you'll need

• NEBOSH Certificate and considerable relevant construction SHE & Gas industry experience.
• Knowledge and experience of Environmental management requirements.
• Current full UK driving licence.
• EUSR Cross Country Pipelines / SHEA Gas.
• Diploma (or equivalent) in Health & Safety or considerable relevant SHE & Gas industry experience (preferred).
• Membership of a safety or environmental professional body or engineering institute (preferred).
• Formal auditor training ISO / / (preferred).
