Job summary

Blackwell Earthmoving Limited, part of Hargreaves Services plc, is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for a major earthmoving project at the Lower Thames Crossing. You will promote a safe working environment, deliver site inductions, and maintain HSE documentation.

The role requires NEBOSH General Certificate, CDM knowledge, construction experience, and strong communication; on-site work with the client SHE team and lodging bonus are included.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety experience in construction.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher).
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and current H&S legislation.
• Site-based experience in construction/civil engineering.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE support and guidance to the site.
• Carry out regular site tours and inspections.
• Investigate incidents and report findings.
• Build strong, positive relationships with the workforce.
• Work collaboratively with the client's SHE team.
• Deliver HSE training and site inductions.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation and plans.
• Produce monthly HSE reports.
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation and best practices.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Familiarity with ISO standards
• Auditing and inspection skills
• Experience in incident investigation
