Job summary

Certain Advantage is hiring a SharePoint Developer for an initial 12-month contract based in Peterborough. The role requires 3 days per week onsite with flexibility for remaining days, working within the IT team as a SharePoint SME to support and improve critical SharePoint solutions.

You will handle administration, resolve incidents, support ITSM and project tools on SharePoint, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient SharePoint services and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SharePoint development and administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and business teams.
• A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to understand existing processes, identify improvements, and continuously develop knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide SharePoint administration and technical support, resolving incidents and troubleshooting issues.
• Manage change requests and ensure the smooth operation of existing SharePoint environments.
• Support the development and enhancement of IT Service Management (ITSM) and project management tools built on SharePoint.
• Deliver SharePoint-based solutions to support wider business projects and process improvements.
• Work on the integration of business systems and tools into the SharePoint platform.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and contribute to the continuous enhancement of SharePoint services.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver effective SharePoint solutions.
