Job summary

Morgan McKinley is recruiting a Shared Services Process Analyst -Finance for Bristol-based, 3-4 month contract outside IR35. You will help standardise and simplify processes in a finance shared services environment, turning complex activities into clear, repeatable workflows.

The role requires strong process-mapping, documentation, and stakeholder engagement across geographically distributed teams, with on-site presence two days per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Shared Service Centre as a Business Process Analyst or similar.
• Strong process mapping and documentation skills.
• Experience creating decision trees, workflows, and SOPs.

Location: Bristol (2 days per week on-site)

Contract Length: 3-4 months

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced within a shared service centre to support a key process improvement initiative within a well-established finance team.

This role is ideally suited to someone who excels at simplifying complex processes, standardising ways of working, and driving operational efficiency across shared services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and standardise existing processes and ways of working.
• Analyse current operating procedures and identify opportunities for simplification and improvement.
• Develop process documentation, decision trees, workflows, and supporting materials.
• Work closely with stakeholders to turn complex activities into clear, practical, and repeatable processes.
• Leverage existing process notes and documentation to build a more consistent operating model.
• Collaborate with an experienced Bristol-based team to deliver process improvements.

About You

• Proven experience in a Shared Service Centre as a Business Process Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong process mapping and documentation skills.
• Experience creating decision trees, workflow documentation, and standard operating procedures.

Additional Information

The wider team is based offshore; however, this role does not involve direct people management. Instead, the focus is on process optimisation, standardisation, and supporting the finance team in creating more efficient ways of working.
