A leading facilities services provider in Hounslow seeks a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the Shared Services financial reporting function. You will ensure the delivery of accurate monthly internal and external reports while partnering with operations for compliance and excellence in processes. This role requires a qualified accountant with over 5 years of experience managing finance teams and strong technical skills in accounting and reporting. Responsible for leading and managing the Shared Services financial reporting function for ABM UK. The role will ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of monthly internal financial reporting to parent company and all external statutory reporting. Acting as a key business partner to operational and corporate teams, this role drives process excellence, standardisation, and continuous improvement across the Shared Services Centre.
The postholder will maintain strong governance, compliance, and internal control standards, ensuring all financial activity aligns with ABM’s policies, procedures, and strategic objectives.
Measures:
On-time delivery of monthly close, reconciliations, and reporting.
Compliance and audit outcomes.
Working capital performance (DSO, DPO).
Measures:
Performance reviews completed on time.
Employee engagement scores.
Talent development and retention rates.
Measures:
Reduction in processing errors.
Improved invoice and payment turnaround times.
Aged debt reduction.
Champions a service mindset and ensures Shared Services functions are seen as value-adding partners to the business.
Provides clear vision, structure, and motivation to build a cohesive and accountable team.
Sets clear performance targets, monitors progress, and implements corrective actions when needed.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of shared services operations, accounting controls, and ERP systems.
Promotes cross-functional collaboration and a “one team” approach across finance and operations.
Communicates with clarity and influence across all levels of the organisation.
