Additional Responsibilities & Leadership
- Judges technology trade‑offs and feasibility, making choices that fit project constraints.
- Serves as technical expert on Wipro projects focused on Salesforce.com, SFI Insurance cloud, and the Force.com platform.
- Designs and implements business technology solutions focused on cloud‑based business applications.
- Direct involvement/oversight of business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Leads projects and facilitates business process analysis sessions with clients, delivering key components of technology solutions.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to teammates, including offshore members.
- Informs the client with professional communication—fulfills commitments, escalates risks, responds promptly, and never lets queries fall into a "black hole"; attends meetings punctually.
- Familiar with project‑management fundamentals and fulfills project‑management responsibilities.
- Generates timely status reports, tracks time, and prepares expense reports.
- Travels to client sites as required.
- Provides presales support when requested.
- Functions as a leader within the organization and industry—contributes to the wiki, asset libraries, Cloud Management Center, sponsors new employees, and presents "Cool Code" at lunch or continuing‑education sessions.
- Prepares and delivers presentations, white‑board discussions, and emails with equal finesse.
- Experiences 8 years of project execution with packaged software or custom development implementations.
Subject‑Matter Expertise
- Serves as Insurance and Health Cloud subject matter expert.
- Achieve published company utilization targets.
- Confidently challenges customers and guides them toward appropriate solutions, pushing back when requested solutions are not in their best interest.
- Guides customers to leverage standard cloud functionality creatively instead of relying entirely on custom code.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 5 years of hands‑on technical leadership experience; SFI experience and SFI certification(s) in SFI Communications cloud or Utilities cloud.
- Salesforce Service and Experience cloud expertise.
- 3 years of Salesforce development (LWC, Apex, APIs, Triggers).
- 3 years leading deployment teams, ideally using Agile methods.
- 2 years of SFI Tech Lead experience in SFI Insurance cloud covering product administration, quoting, policy administration, contract & enroll, first notice of loss (FNOL), and claims management.
- Excellent communication skills—proficient in email, white‑board facilitation, and technical presentation.
- Business operations and process experience in the insurance sector.
- Experience directing and driving a development team under Agile/SCRUM frameworks.
- Advanced administrator and developer certifications highly preferred; one or more current Salesforce.com certifications (developer, administrator, sales/service, PD1, PD2, etc.).
- SFI Platform Developer / Consultant certification.
- SFI CPQ certification or certification in Salesforce CPQ or Apttus CPQ.
- Financial Service Cloud certification.
- SFI Insurance Cloud / Health Cloud certifications.
- Experience with a breadth of CRM software (Salesforce, Siebel, Clarify, Vantive, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, etc.) and messaging/collaboration platforms.
- Strong understanding of platform limitations, designed alternatives, ability to split time across multiple projects, and identify conflicts between business requirements and technical capabilities.
- Continuous feedback to project teams, monitors deliverables for quality and compliance, and partners with project managers to track status and risk.
