Job summary

A regional educational institution in Norwich is seeking a Sessional Lecturer in Digital T Levels, IT & Computing. This role requires an inspirational lecturer to engage students in the Digital curriculum with 16.25 contact hours per week. Candidates should hold a degree in a relevant field and have experience supporting young people in an educational setting. The contract is fixed-term until July 2026, offering £29.51 per hour. Sessional Lecturer in Digital T Levels, IT & Computing

16.25 contact hours a week, £29.51 per hour including holiday pay

Fixed Term to 31st July 2026

The role requires the successful candidate to:
  • Be an inspirational lecturer
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure the requirements of the qualifications outlined in the specification/s are met
  • Contribute to the planning, preparation, assessment, and delivery of all our Digital courses including the T Level Digital Support and Security Services
  • Deliver high quality planned sessions to students which are active and engaging, and provide high levels of challenge
  • Support progress through ongoing feedback in a variety of forms to ensure that students can achieve their full potential and make progress
Person Specification:

Experience:

  • A degree or equivalent in relevant discipline and/or vocational experience
  • A good knowledge of Digital Support and Infrastructure, including cybersecurity and disaster recovery, IT Systems, IT Support Fundamentals and Installing an Operating System etc.
  • A qualified teacher or a keen interest in undertaking teacher training
  • Demonstratable success regarding student success and achievement
  • Experience of working with young people in an educational setting
  • Effective links to Industry or local employers that can support the curriculum
