Job summary

Sainsbury's stores are fast-paced environments where no two days are ever the same. As a Services Assistant, you’ll be the special ingredient providing the best shopping experience for customers.

You’ll serve on checkouts, assist at self-service tills, kiosks and petrol stations while building knowledge of products and promotions. Responsibilities

• Serve and support customers on checkouts, self-service tills, and kiosks or petrol stations.
• Pick best quality products on the shop floor for customers using on-demand ordering and assist with Click & Collect parcels.
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
• Deal with complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising.
• Safely move and retrieve trolleys in customer car parks.
• Work flexibly across the store as needed.

What you’ll be doing:

• Always being on hand to serve and support customers on our checkouts, self-service tills, and kiosks or even our petrol stations, supporting with any questions and proactively offering help
• Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On-demand grocery ordering service and assisting customers with Click & Collect parcels.
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
• Dealing with complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising
• Safely moving and retrieving trolleys in our customer car parks
• Working flexibly across the store as needed

Eligibility:

• You must be above the school-leaver age in your country School leaving age - GOV.UK
• If the shifts for this role cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age.
