Job description

Service Technician – Agricultural Machinery (Ireland & UK)

Location: 50% Ireland / 50% UK, Bristol

This is an opportunity for a hands on individual with mechanical or agricultural experience who enjoys travel and variety in their work. You will spend approximately 50% of your time at the company’s main manufacturing, assembly and service facility in Ireland, and 50% in the UK (Bristol region) carrying out servicing, installation and operator training for customers. All product and technical training will be provided in Ireland before you begin field work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain and repair specialist biodegradable film-laying machines
• Support customer training and machine demonstrations in the field
• Provide technical assistance and machine setup on client sites
• Work closely with the Irish manufacturing and service teams
• Travel regularly between Ireland and the UK (typically 2-week rotations)

The Candidate:

• Mechanical or agricultural background (ideally with hands‑on machinery experience)
• Practical, motivated and able to work independently
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay away from home
• Full driving licence essential
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

The Package:

• Base Salary: €40,000 per annum
• 10% salary uplift after 1 year
• Overtime available
• Service van, tools, laptop, and mobile phone provided

• Two‑week summer shutdown in July/August
