Position Overview

Service Technician (Wind Turbines + Full OEM Training)

Location: Kilbraur Wind Farm – covering Golspie / Brora / Lairg (Highlands, Scotland)

Salary: £34,000 + Bonus + Overtime & On-Call (OTE £40,000‑£45,000) + Training + 33 Days Holiday + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of wind turbines across Kilbraur Wind Farm
• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance
• Full OEM and technical training provided
• Field‑based role with travel across the Golspie / Brora / Lairg area
• Physically demanding, working at height (Working at Height medical required – Chester Step Test)
• Overtime, on‑call payments, and annual bonus

Qualifications & Requirements

• Electrical or Mechanical background (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience within Ex‑Forces (REME, RAF, Navy, Marines), Agricultural, Plant, HGV, or similar backgrounds highly desirable
• Able to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagrams
• Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Must live within approximately 1 hour of Golspie
