The Client

A global leader in environmental monitoring and instrumentation solutions is expanding its Service Department and seeking a technically skilled Service Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in calibration, diagnostics, and repair of precision instruments to join a high-impact, innovation-driven team.

The Package

The Responsibilities
  • Calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on advanced instrumentation
  • Analyze service data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Communicate technical issues and resolutions to internal teams
  • Report recurring service trends to support product development
  • Provide on-site service support as required (20–25% travel)
The Requirements
  • 1–2 years of experience in technical service, instrumentation, or electronics
  • Proficiency in instrument calibration and fault diagnostics
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics
  • Familiarity with electronic components and basic repair techniques
  • Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office and service tracking software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams
  • Associate degree or vocational training in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
