The role centres on repairing and maintaining electrical equipment used within their hire fleet, so hands‑on electronics experience is a real advantage, someone who's spent time repairing electronics, using tools and ideally doing a bit of soldering.

What you'll be doing
  • Fault‑finding on inspection kits, monitors and control units
  • Repairing or replacing components such as connectors, cables, lights, circuit boards, and small mechanical parts
  • Carrying out basic soldering and wiring repairs
  • Cleaning, preparing and testing equipment before it goes back out on hire
  • Making sure repair notes and service records are kept accurate and up to date
  • Keeping the workshop organised and working safely
  • Helping with occasional local deliveries/collections when needed
This role will suit
  • Someone with hands‑on repair experience; ideally in electronics, wiring, soldering, or similar “bench repair” work
  • A practical problem‑solver who enjoys taking things apart and fixing them to a high standard
  • Happy working on‑site in a small, supportive team
  • Detailed, methodical, and able to follow repeatable processes
  • Full UK driving licence required for occasional vehicle use
What's on offer
  • Full training on the specialist equipment (you don't need prior industry experience)
  • Being part of a growing technical business
  • The chance to deepen your repair skills and progress as you learn the equipment
  • Supportive environment with variety day‑to‑day
