Qualifications

  • Holding an NVQ or City & Guilds in Engineering would be advantageous.
  • Experience with Cranes, Construction Plant, Agricultural Machinery, or Heavy Goods Vehicles is preferred.
  • Must hold a UK driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out Service, Repair, and Maintenance work on mobile & spider cranes.
  • Identify faults within hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve standard technical problems.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety regulations.

We have a fantastic new opportunity available for a Service Technician to join a well-established, independent dealership of Construction Machinery based in the West Midlands. This is an organisation who have built up a strong reputation over the last 20 years. They have a strong product portfolio on offer and have built the business successfully by delivering an excellent customer experience.

Within the role of Service Technician, you shall support the workshop team with any mechanical, electrical and hydraulics faults and repairs.

Responsibilities of the Role
  • Carry out Service, Repair, and Maintenance work on a range of mobile & spider cranes
  • Identify any faults within hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, ensuring compliance of company health and safety regulations.
Requirements of Role
  • Holding an NVQ or City & Guilds in Engineering would be advantageous, however time served engineers will also be strongly considered.
  • Ideally have experience working on Cranes, Construction Plant, Agricultural Machinery, Forestry Equipment, or HGV's / Heavy Good Vehicles.
  • Hold a UK driving license
