Service Team Leader - Medical - £40,000 + Excellent Pension + 25 Days Holiday - Bishop's Stortford

Are you a hands‑on team leader with a background in technical service, engineering, or medical devices? We're working with a well‑established and highly respected provider of precision medical instruments used across clinics, hospitals, and research environments globally. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Technical Service Team Leader to join their UK‑based service operations.

In this key role, you'll lead a small but skilled team of technical service engineers supporting industry‑leading diagnostic and surgical equipment. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the

Technical Service Team Leader will play a vital part in driving service performance, delivering exceptional customer support, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and support the Technical Service Team to ensure efficient day‑to‑day operations.
  • Coordinate and provide hands‑on assistance with repairs, commissioning, and technical support for specialist medical equipment.
  • Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic changes.
  • Ensure service delivery aligns with medical device regulations and internal QMS protocols.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal departments to meet wider business goals.
