We have a new opportunity for a Service Resilience Manager to join us!

Reporting into the Service Design and Transition Manager, you’ll support the definition, design, monitoring and delivery of IT service continuity and resilience management for AXA UK, providing assurance to AXA UK executives, shareholders and financial services agencies that fit for purpose continuity provision is in place to recover from a major incident or disaster.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Governing the implementation of an IT Service Continuity Management framework aligned to AXA Group Business Continuity and Crisis Management standards
  • Monitoring, forecasting and managing capacity for core IT and strategic Cloud Services to meet business and regulatory requirements
  • Running the wider IT Service Continuity Management programme and initiatives
  • Delivering internal audit and regulatory activities
  • Defining and maintaining backup strategy and policy documentation and controls
  • Developing and maintaining capacity plans; collaborating with IT Operations and service owners to ensure scalable resources and alignment with business requirements
  • Implementing the delivery of DR test activities through IT DR stakeholders, AXA Group Operations and critical 3rd party supplier and vendor engagement to ensure fit for purpose IT Service Continuity provision

What you’ll bring:
  • IT service continuity experience
  • Disaster recovery experience (testing or scenario)
  • Good understanding of MS Azure and Amazon Web Services Platforms
  • Ability to develop and maintain a wide network of contacts both in IT and with the business / third party suppliers
  • Understanding and delivery of internal audit and regulatory activities
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong project lifecycle, analysis and project management experience
  • Capacity management is desirable
  • BS25777 and ITIL best practice aligned

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
