Service & Repair Engineer

Location: Various UK Sites

Hours: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday, plus overtime

The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Service & Repair Engineer to join our Operations Team. You’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing assistive equipment such as:

  • Ceiling hoists
  • Height-adjustable baths and basins
  • Changing couches
  • Other specialist mobility equipment

You’ll work across diverse environments and ensure all work meets manufacturer and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Complete service and repair tasks to a high standard
  • Maintain van stock and drive safely
  • Communicate effectively with clients
  • Record work using our ERP system (Simpro)
  • Respond to emergency repairs
  • Share best practices and support team training
What We’re Looking For
  • Ability to follow service instructions and wiring diagrams
  • Fault‑finding skills using electrical test meters
  • Experience with power tools and working safely at height
  • Strong problem‑solving and attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • PASMA, SSSP, CITB, or IPAF certifications (training available)
  • Basic IT skills and tablet use
  • Full UK driving licence & Enhanced DBS check
  • Physically fit and able to work independently
  • Experience with mobility equipment (preferred)
