We are seeking a high-performing, relationship-driven Service Project Sales Representative to join our Nova Scotia Service team located at 60 Cutler Avenue, Dartmouth, NS. This role is ideal for a sales professional with strong knowledge of HVAC systems, Building Automation Controls, and Energy Solutions, who thrives on building lasting client partnerships and driving growth through innovative solutions.

In addition, you will play a key role in positioning energy efficiency and controls-related projects to our existing client base while expanding new opportunities in commercial, institutional, and industrial markets.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive Project Sales: Develop, estimate and close design-build mechanical service projects including HVAC, refrigeration, building automation, electrical, plumbing and energy optimization solutions.
  • Collaborate & Execute: Work closely with internal teams to develop customized solutions. Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and material procurement.
  • Account Management Excellence: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and aligning solutions to their operational and sustainability goals.
  • Energy & Controls Leadership: Proactively identify opportunities to integrate energy efficiency and advanced controls into client projects. Present compelling proposals with ROI analysis and energy savings justification.
  • Improve Client Relations: Work closely with existing clients to uncover current and future facility and business needs in order to position tailored solutions that positively impact their overall business drivers.
  • Sales Tracking & Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to manage pipeline, forecast opportunities, and report progress.

Education & Experience
  • Mechanical engineering or technology diploma/degree (asset).
  • OR multiple years of experience as a qualified tradesperson in the construction mechanical and/or HVAC industry may substitute for education requirements.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in HVAC or controls.
  • 3–5 years in a similar sales role within the mechanical service industry (asset).
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation, and energy optimization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook); experience with Salesforce is an asset.
