Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Service Planner, Service Coordinator, or Scheduler.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with engineers and colleagues.
  • Desirable but not essential: experience within automatic doors or similar field.
  • Confidence in using planning systems effectively.

About this position

This position will support one of the company's busiest regions, ensuring engineers are effectively deployed and customers receive outstanding service. Responsibilities
  • Efficiently plan and schedule engineers across the assigned region, ensuring work load is optimised and workloads are balanced.
  • Use available route‑planning tools to minimise travel time and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a positive and solutions‑focused approach while working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and incoming calls.
  • Prepare quotations for remedial works and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Keep internal systems and any client portals up to date with accurate information.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Service Planner, Service Co‑ordinator, Scheduler, or within a similar planning capacity.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build productive working relationships with engineers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • Industry experience within automatic doors or similar field‑based service sectors is desirable, though not essential.
  • Confident IT skills and the ability to use planning systems effectively.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday: either 8am – 5pm or 8:30am – 5.30pm (1‑hour lunch)
  • 1 in 5 Saturdays: 8:30am – 4pm – flexible scheduling available through shift swaps
