Service Order Management Architect - 6 months - Windsor - Inside IR35

We are looking for a highly experienced Service Order Management (SOM) Architect to lead the design and governance of our TM Forum-aligned service orchestration landscape. This is a senior individual contributor role that will shape how orders, services, and resources are modelled, orchestrated, and fulfilled across our next-generation Energy Services Platform.

Key:

• Own the TMF-aligned SOM architecture across order capture, decomposition, orchestration, life cycle, and fulfilment integration.
• Define orchestration logic for multi-product, multi-step journeys.
• Design integrations with billing, CRM, field services, scheduling, inventory, and external partners.
• Review LLDs, solution designs, test plans, and build outputs for TMF alignment.
• Represent SOM architecture in Design Authority forums, presenting options, trade-offs, and recommendations.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• 15+ years overall experience; 8+ years specifically as a SOM Architect in a TMF/ODA-aligned environment.
• Deep expertise in TM Forum Open APIs, TMF ODA frameworks, and catalogue-driven architecture.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, microservices, and cloud-native deployment models (Docker, Kubernetes, public/hybrid cloud).
• Proven ability to design complex service orchestration and fulfilment architectures.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Day Rate:475 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Windsor- 1 Day per week
