A leading engineering firm in the United Kingdom seeks a Technical Specialist to influence cross-business teams and ensure service objectives are met. This role requires expertise in Service Maturity and Integrated Product Support for complex engineering products. As the Technical Specialist, you will proactively drive and influence teams across the business to avoid unexpected service cost and disruption by ensuring products and services are mature at entry into service and achieve the service business objectives (e.g. Availability, Reliability and Maintainability (AR&M), Time on Platform, Maintenance Cost, Maintenance Support Strategy). You will provide technical expertise in 'design for support' using supportability and Integrated Product Support (IPS) principles (e.g. AR&M, Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) etc.) and integrate across the whole business. You will also provide expertise in proactive reliability and technical surveillance to support continuous product enhancement for customer satisfaction and business expectation. To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality.
