Service Manager - Horsham, Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum. Hours: 35 hours per week (Mon‑Fri). Ready for your leadership to make a greater difference? You can inspire a passionate team to help residents live life their way. Brainkind is a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK. Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support people to regain the skills they have lost. We treat people with a range of brain injuries – sustained through trauma, illness, substance abuse and more – to recover and meet their personal goals. Service Features
  • Sixteen ensuite bedrooms, two self‑contained flats, and five separate bungalows on the grounds
  • Two fully equipped rehabilitation skills kitchens
  • Four assessment and therapy rooms
  • A courtyard and a garden area
  • Activities rooms, including an art and crafts room
  • Three communal lounges/areas, including a main TV lounge, games room, and one quiet room

You will manage all aspects of the service to ensure the highest quality standards of treatment and care. We want you to lead, motivate and develop your multidisciplinary team – empowering them to perform to their potential when supporting residents. We have ambitious plans for the future. So, you can further make your mark by managing the organic and planned change within the service, and by marketing the service to potential commissioners and referrers.

About you
  • A Registered Manager with a QCF (NVQ) level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • A record of managing a high quality, multi‑site residential service
  • A strong commitment to person‑centred independence‑building services
  • Experience of managing budgets and financial systems
  • An experienced people leader with a track record of developing a team and managing performance
