ABI Service Manager

Location: London
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent | Hybrid Opportunity

PSR Solutions are excited to partner with a forward-thinking, dynamic care provider in their search for a skilled and experienced ABI Service Manager to lead the development of new Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Supported Living services in London. This is an exceptional opportunity to design and develop brand new, person-centred services that support individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries to successfully transition from hospital or care home environments into community based supported living. Working closely with neuro rehabilitation hospitals, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and brain injury associations, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, clinically informed support pathways that promote independence, dignity, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and establish new ABI Supported Living services in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred service delivery.
• Collaborate with key partners, including ICBs, neuro hospitals, and local authorities, to facilitate seamless transitions into community-based living.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards, Headway protocols, and all relevant legislation.
• Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, embedding a culture of clinical excellence, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate service outcomes, using data and best practice to drive quality and performance.
• Support the growth and sustainability of services through effective planning, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

About You

You will be a skilled and compassionate leader with a strong background in ABI, neurorehabilitation, or complex care services. You will be confident managing teams, developing new services, and working in partnership with a wide range of clinical and commissioning stakeholders.

Background

• Service Manager or Registered Manager within ABI or Supported Living services
• Occupational Therapist or Nurse with management experience in neurorehabilitation or community transitions

Experience

• Proven expertise supporting individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries
• A clear understanding of neurorehabilitation and step-down pathways
• Familiarity with Headway protocols or equivalent rehabilitation frameworks
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• A proactive, collaborative, and solution-focused approach
