About the Role

As a Service Manager, you will lead essential frontline services designed to support individuals facing complex needs, including housing, health, employability and wellbeing challenges. This is a role for someone who is passionate about empowering communities, improving service quality and ensuring that every person who walks through our doors receives exceptional support tailored to their needs.

What You’ll Do

Lead, manage and inspire service teams to provide high-quality, person-centred support.

Ensure effective assessments, action plans and interventions for all service users.

Develop and deliver business plans that drive service growth and continuous improvement.

Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, commissioners and external agencies.

Manage service budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.

Oversee quality assurance, performance monitoring and compliance with relevant frameworks.

Support recruitment, training, coaching and development of staff and volunteers.

Ensure services are inclusive and accessible to all, including underrepresented groups.

Maintain safe systems of work, health and safety standards and building management where required.

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need :

To have (or is working towards) a Level 5 Management / Leadership qualification or has significant relevant experience.

To bring experience supporting vulnerable people and managing high-quality support services.

A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and service delivery models.

To be confident analysing data and using management information systems.

Strong budget management skills and experience working with KPIs.

To be able to build strong relationships with commissioners, partners and community organisations.
